Biography & Interests

I am a Classicist from Oxford and am currently taking a Master’s at the LSE in Political Theory. I greatly enjoy my work as a mentor, in combination with the chance to travel. I have toured Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Greece, Mexico and much of Italy. I also have keen passions for backgammon, karate, Evelyn Waugh and Madchester music.

Experience & Approach

I am a qualified tutor and EFL teacher (CELTA) with an advanced level of Spanish and French. I have taught English and Maths to GCSE level, and Latin up to degree level. Mentoring work has recently taken me to Paris, and I love having the chance to travel and see new places. Though I am academically rigorous in my approach, I like to make clear to my students that there is much beyond the curriculum that can help them enjoy what they study.
