Biography & Interests

I have a (science) Baccalaureate, AS and A-Levels in English Literature, French, philosophy and Spanish, a BA (with distinctions) in Modern Foreign Languages (French, Italian with Spanish) from Durham University and a MSc in Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford. I have lived in six countries, I am fluent in five languages and spent most of my year abroad translating at the European Parliament.

My hobbies include appreciating various forms of art, long-distance running and dynamic yoga. I currently split my time between working with children and consulting on digital projects, in the hope of opening my dream school in the not too distant future.

Experience & Approach

I have been tutoring for over a decade which includes bilingual primary teaching experience. My main areas of focus are 7+ and 8+ exams alongside ab-initio, general and advanced French and Italian. I have successfully prepared students for 7 and 8+ exams (Latymer, St. Paul’s, Bute House, etc...), Common Entrance and Scholarship exams (Eton and Harrow), GCSEs and A-Levels. I am a proponent of the benefits of Caroline Dweck's Growth Mindset and employ highly methodical and practical strategies. My approach to imparting knowledge is enthusiastic but firm and unwaveringly calm.
