Biography & Interests

Mentorship has been instrumental in the progression of my professional and personal life. Therefore, I aim to add value to people’s lives as much as I can on a daily basis and inspire the younger generations. We are shaping the world of tomorrow so I am always excited to share knowledge and experience to build a better world. I was born to a Belgian father and a German/Kuwaiti mother and grew up in Belgium, Germany and the US before moving to the UK to start my fashion studies at London’s Central Saint Martins. Until the age of 6, I have been educated with a Montessori approach which has been a strong foundation in my life.

Professionally, I am currently a womenswear designer specialised in printed and embroidered textiles having worked for various high-end fashion houses.

I have always had a huge love for Maths as my favourite academic subject at school. I am also very passionate about art history. I am native in English, German and French. My hobbies include horse riding, cooking, various forms of exercise and contemporary art. My key interests are personal development, culture and environmental sustainability.

Experience & Approach

I have considerable experience in mentoring academically children until the age of 18 and also mentoring creatively people of all ages aspiring for a successful career in art and design. My speciality subjects are Maths, Art History, French, German, building a strong art and design portfolio as well as personal statement fit for elite universities. 

I believe in making learning fun as a strong foundation for life. Providing a holistic approach to mentoring is crucial to longterm success. In my approach,  I value the human spirit and the development of the whole child—physical, social, emotional, cognitive. I aim to foster independence and a love for learning from an early age. I put together each lesson specifically to meet the child’s needs in order to build their self-confidence and motivation. I strongly encourage creative and lateral thinking within an academic discipline. Furthermore, I am very versatile with my approach so can adapt to specific requirements parents may wish for.
