Biography & Interests

I have recently graduated from the University at Edinburgh in English Literature and am now pursuing my love of cooking, studying at Le Cordon Bleu cookery school on their ‘Diplôme de Cuisine’. I am passionate about all things food, but I also love yoga which I practice regularly as well as enjoying other sports such as swimming, netball and tennis. I have continued drawing and painting following my Fine Art A Level and love to spend my free time at the amazing galleries around London.

Experience & Approach

Throughout my last two years at St Swithun’s School I volunteered as a classroom assistant to both 5 year olds and 11 year olds and was able to witness the benefit of focused one-to-one attention between pupil and teacher. Having been lucky enough to receive a very privileged education where I was inspired by many of my teachers, I learnt the value of a personalised approach to learning - as well as how pivotal creating an enthusiasm for your subject is. I have two younger sisters and have always assumed a mentoring role to them throughout both their school & university careers. Having struggled myself at various points with the stringent pressures of academia and exams I understand how important it is to have a reassuring figure to help alleviate the stresses and demands of school work. Through an enthusiastic and relaxed approach I hope to instil all students with the confidence to achieve their potential.
