APPLYING TO BE A MENTOR
At Oppidan we pride ourselves on the quality control and support system we put in place for our mentors. We look for enthusiastic, engaged and friendly mentors; we greatly value personality and of course look favourably upon mentors with an interest in education.
Whilst we look to expand our team, please be aware that we turn down more applications that we accept. We do not take on mentors for the short-term and ask that, alongside your other interests and ambitions, you have a clear commitment to working for Oppidan for the foreseeable future.

Phone interview - You will have an initial phone interview with a member of the Oppidan team.
Face-to-face interviews – Successful candidates will then undergo two subsequent face-to-face interviews at our offices in Holland Park.
Enhanced DBS check - This is necessary to have in order to work for Oppidan. Please make us aware of any up-to-date DBS checks you have, otherwise we can organise this for you before you start.
Safeguarding - All mentors working for Oppidan undergo online safeguard training.
