Biography & Interests

Having grown up in Asia I’ve been fortunate enough to have explored and travelled to some amazing places over the years, I really believe variety is the spice of life. Recently I’ve quit a job in asset management to focus on starting up a beer brewery which will be utilising old-world techniques, local British ingredients with a focus on 100% vintage oak barrel ageing.

In my free time I play a lot of squash, football and hockey. At Radley I was fortunate enough to play 1XI hockey for four years and captained the team in my final year. Everyone loves being part of successful teams and there is nothing better than sport camaraderie.

Experience & Approach

Mentoring for me is about creating a relationship with your mentee to the point where they have 100% trust in you as a leader/role model to them. The mentee has to feel safe enough to fail but challenged enough to succeed. Furthermore I think mentoring gives you the scope to be creative when approaching daunting subjects and allows you to engage your mentee in many other ways than just academically.
