Biography & Interests

I am 27 years old and live in London. I’m a professional actor and also work as a tutor, mentor and PA. I love performing, music, theatre, film, yoga and good food!

Experience & Approach

I have mentored several children and young adults in maths, science and English since 2013. I enjoy being able to work one-on-one with a student as it allows them to have the undivided attention they might need to sort out any issues or questions they have about a particular subject. I am also a mentor for students applying for university and younger children too. I think mentorship is a great way for children to learn more about themselves, explore possible career paths they didn’t know about, build confidence and mature. I like to follow the student’s lead when it comes to my approach. I adjust myself and my lesson plans to suit how they naturally work and cater for their specific needs.

“I asked V this morning how it went and she gave me two big thumbs up: she was very happy. She said they worked well together and that Fiona explains everything well.” Mother of 11-year-old girl, October 2018

“Five Stars!” Mother of GCSE Science Students, October 2018

“Feedback from my daughter Charlotte about Fiona has been excellent. Firstly Charlotte liked Fiona very much and felt very comfortable being taught by her. Secondly Fiona was on time, totally prepared to teach/coach and focused entirely on Charlotte and maths for the full 4 hour session. Charlotte has found the sessions immensely valuable and would like further help from Fiona if we can organise it.

As Charlotte's mother, I was impressed with Fiona's (and Oppidan's) response time, warmth, efficiency and immediate grasp of Charlotte's needs. Easily 5 stars and thank you Fiona.” Mother of AS Level Maths Student, April 2019

“Max LOVED his season with Fiona. She was very calm and considered, and held Max’s attention the whole time.” Mother of Year 4 Maths and English Student, May 2019
