• City, University of London: MA International Journalism

  • University of Edinburgh: MA History & Politics

  • Radley College: A Levels - English A*, Politics A*, History A*, Economics and Business A

Since graduating from the University of Edinburgh, I have been mentoring alongside my master’s degree at City University. At City, I am studying international journalism, with a view to becoming a foreign affairs correspondent. Before university, I was at Radley College, where I spent most of my free time either playing sport or acting. I still play football, hockey and most racket sports when it is not too chilly! I also love watching films and reading.

As someone who has himself been mentored, I fully appreciate the importance of growth outside of the classroom. I like to create an environment that allows students to come out of their shell so that they can start building a confidence of their own. I take an informal and friendly approach to mentoring so that students will feel comfortable enough to express themselves in our sessions. That way, I can identify key areas for improvement and create a roadmap around that.  I have tutored a variety of different ages and academic stages, but I have most experience in 11+ and GCSE level. My specialist topics are English, History and Politics, which I can tutor up to A-level standard.
