BIOGRAPHY & INTERESTS
I grew up in the countryside with 6 siblings – 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I attended St Edward’s Oxford where I was awarded a sports scholarship, after my GCSE year I was awarded an honorary Art scholarship and after AS levels I was awarded an honorary Academic scholarship. I was made captain of rugby in my last year. After a gap year, I studied Geography at Bristol University where I graduated in 2017 with a 2:1. Since then I travelled from Kenya down to South Africa where I lived from December to February this year. I am particularly interested in travel, sport and people. I am currently working for myself, developing a health food snack.
EXPERIENCE & APPROACH
Being one of 7, I personally believe that I am able to create ‘bonds’ with an extremely wide range of ages. Similarly, I believe that the value of camaraderie is irreplaceable. Creating a ‘sibling-like’ relationship with tutees enables a trusted relationship - that I believe - best promotes an interest in education. Whether or not it is a child’s preferred subject, finding a balance between academic attention to detail as well as a dynamic approach through relatable examples is the best approach.
