I am a passionate Geographer and through this have developed an deep appreciation for outdoor activities and travelling. Most recently I have travelled to India and Africa, both solo and as part of a groups. In my free time I enjoy cycling, hiking and running and have recently completed the Mont St Michel Marathon in France. I also enjoy reading, with a particular fondness of historical fiction and would list Conn Iggulden, Wilbur Smith and Bernard Cornwall as my favourite authors. I am a passionate traveller, surfer and sports follower. Furthermore, I am a qualified rugby, tennis and squash coach.

I am currently Lead Geographer at Ark Bolingbroke Academy in Wandsworth. I was educated Mount House School, received the Jeremy Irons Scholarship to Sherborne School and studied Sports Coaching at the University of Bath. I have previously worked as an Assistant Housemaster, Head of Geography and Head of Rugby at Milton Abbey School. I have been teaching for 5 years and in that time have taught Geography from KS3 to A Level and Humanities to KS3. I have on a yearly basis prepared pupils for their A-level and GCSEs both as a subject teacher and a group/individual tutor. A large part of my role as Head of department in recent years has been planning and leading educational intervention plans for pupils under target.

I have recently completed my first residential tutoring placement in France during the Easter half term in which I prepared and led a revision plan for Grisha (GCSE), and Ivan (KS2). On the back on this successful week I have continued to work with the family in London on a weekly basis. With regard to fulfilling the wider role of a mentor which caters for the holistic development of a child, I have work worked in a boarding house for 4 years and have accumulated significant pastoral experience.
