Mastering communication

1:1 mentorship sessions to foster strong communication skills.

The context

Children aged 10-14 years benefit from the greatest creativity and neuroplasticity of their lives, at a time when building habits and learning to express yourself becomes increasingly important.

Learning who you are and how to present yourself is important within the context of interviews for secondary schools, but it’s also about maturing into a curious young adult who can build healthy relationships and take an active interest in the world around them.

1:1 sessions with Henry

Henry lives between London and New York City, where he works with a handful of students to develop their communication skills.

From debating the issues of the day to finding strategies to showcase presence and eloquence, Henry builds a sustained relationship with a child to act as mentor and guide for their progression through school.

Relationships typically exist through a hybrid of in-person and online delivery, utilising Oppidan’s platform Lessonspace as a central dashboard for content sharing and feedback reporting.

Henry hails from a political family of speakers: his great-grandfather was UK Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and his father David was a Member of Parliament before taking on leadership of Summer Fields School, one of the UK’s leading selective prep schools.

Head Boy of Eton College, Henry graduated from Oxford University before launching a career in film, television and theatre.
