Rugby School, Thailand
At Rugby School Thailand, mentoring is a cornerstone of our commitment to kindness, leadership, and community.
Building on a strong tradition of student-led initiatives, our Sixth Form students take an active role in guiding younger peers through a structured 10-week programme. Supported by Oppidan training and overseen by Heads of Year, mentors work one-to-one with students in Years 10 and 11, offering academic support, pastoral care, and encouragement.
With 72 students involved, the programme fosters confidence, resilience, and collaboration, while empowering mentors to develop skills in communication, problem-solving, and time management. This culture of peer support strengthens relationships across year groups and reflects our belief that leadership begins with empathy and shared responsibility.
