British Education Korea

Programmes

In September 2023, Oppidan and British Education Korea launched a partnership involving nearly 100 pupils in both junior and senior school.

Outcomes

Throughout the programme, pupils engaged with inspiring mentors through communication workshops and a 1-1 mentoring session. The structured journey provides parents with specific information and feedback about their child via an online platform of pupil reports.

The Oppidan programme focusses on the development of essential skills necessary for future success. The Skills Builder Framework is used to support this progression and encourage the building of important transferable skills. These skills such as communication, creativity and problem-solving, are frequently overlooked in education, yet fundamental across individuals’ lives.

The following data reflects a sample of 34 BEK students who completed the pre and post workshop surveys.

  • 76% increase in pupils feeling more prepared to handle a future interview.

  • 45% increase in pupils seeing the benefit of having a mentor

  • 52% increase in student clarity for next year’s goals
