Oppidan x Peligoni this May half term
This May half term, we’ll be back at Peligoni on the Greek island of Zakynthos, running morning revision camps for students preparing for upcoming exams.
From Sunday 24th to Sunday 31st May, two of our mentors, Archie and Gregor, will be at The Club running free morning revision sessions for kids. Whether your child is preparing for GCSEs and A levels this summer or getting ahead with 11+ ISEB preparation for the autumn, these sessions are designed to keep momentum going in a whilst parents kick back on the shores of the Ionian Sea.
About Peligoni
Peligoni is a secluded clubhouse by the sea on the Greek island of Zakynthos, with private villas along the coast and hidden in the surrounding hills. Boutique and personal, it's an escape for those seeking the freedom of summer. Guests spend their days at The Club with access to watersports, fitness classes, tennis, a spa and a social programme that brings families together. There's sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding and wingfoiling, plus wakeboarding, waterskiing and boat trips for those who want a bit more adventure.
Kids are looked after with age-specific activity programmes, while parents can relax, explore the island by bike or enjoy long lunches at one of several restaurants overlooking the Ionian Sea. Morning revision camps
Each morning, Archie and Gregor will run group revision camps at The Club, completely free of charge for Peligoni guests. Think structured study sessions broken down into manageable chunks, with variety and energy to keep things moving. Subjects are brought to life using the incredible spaces Peligoni has to offer. Parents can also book private 1:1 sessions with Archie and Gregor during the week, either directly through Oppidan or through Peligoni.
Gregor read History at Oxford and has over 1,000 hours of mentoring experience across 11+, GCSE, A-Level and IB. He's also a trained actor and spent a year teaching at a boarding school in New York.
Archie graduated with a first in Neuroscience from Edinburgh and went on to train as an actor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He specialises in STEM subjects and 11+ preparation, and has nearly a decade of mentoring experience.
