The Schools
-

Jon Newton
Eton College
Deputy Head
Founded in 1440, Eton is the most prestigious boys' boarding school in the world. Its alumni include 20 British Prime Ministers, countless business leaders and some of the most influential figures in public life. Academically, it sits at the very top. Since the 1990s, Eton has consistently ranked among the top three schools in the UK for Oxbridge offers. For a family investing in a UK education, there is no more recognisable name on a university application.

Tara Reeve
Downe House
Head of Admissions
Downe House is one of the defining names in British girls' boarding education. Selective, full boarding, and with a track record of placing students at the world's top universities. For parents looking at the best girls' schools in the UK, Downe House is an obvious option. The school has a reputation for producing young women who are not just academically accomplished, but confident and self-assured.

James Lyon Taylor
Marlborough College
Head of Admissions
Marlborough is one of the ten most sought-after boarding schools in the UK. Co-educational, full boarding, and consistently placed among the country's best for academic results and university destinations. Pupils go on to Oxford, Cambridge, the Ivy League and leading universities across Europe.
Oppidan Education in Korea
After ten years of success in the UK, we opened an office in Korea in 2023.
Now, with the partnership and support of many of Korea's best international schools including Dulwich, British Education Korea and Dwight – Oppidan have also begun to support families in Seoul and beyond, to make decisions about schools. The first cohort of Korean families are now happily placed in top schools across the globe.
As elsewhere, our mentoring and consultancy methodology in Korea is built in collaboration with partners including Oxford University, designed to ensure the long-term, all-round development of young people. This approach has supported well over 10,000 families, iterated by our in-house education team. If you're a Korean parent with school-aged children, we'd love to meet you.
Walter Kerr (L) and Henry Faber (R), co-founder of Oppidan Education
Being part of the Oppidan mentoring programme has been one of the most valuable decisions we've made as parents. The programme goes far beyond academic tutoring. A special thank you to Mr. Felix Lahiff, who has been our main mentor for the last two years, and has been like a big brother and role model for my child. The journey continues, and I can't wait to see what comes next. Thank you, Oppidan.
