David Ross Educational Trust

Programme 

The David Ross Education Trust and Oppidan have recently begun a new partnership this year with seven schools across DRET in the spring and summer terms of 2023. This first of its kind peer mentoring programme is run across the diverse range of schools across a single multi-academy trust.

We have brought together 420 students, from Stratford to Skegness, to impact in-school community, character and communication.  Students have already completed their two journey training days in small mentor-led groups. They are now commencing sessions in their individual schools using their mentor resources to support their mentees’ confidence and communication. 

The schools involved were:  

• Charnwood College 

• Bobby Moore Academy

• Havelock 

• King Edward VI 

• Lodge Park 

• Malcolm Arnold Academy 

• Skegness Grammar
