Partners since 2019, Year 5 students are currently enjoying the Two-Year Journey, equipping them with the confidence to make a real success of the transition into Year 5, and to the senior school selection process beyond.
Outcomes
Pupils and parents are surveyed prior to the programme launch to further inform the focus of our work. Pupil feedback to date shows the value they place in collaboration and having a mentor who can facilitate teamwork in a safe and open environment. They have relished the opportunity to develop their supra-curricular skills and in surveys have reflected on how to translate these skills into future academic and personal success.
In their most recent day, focused on fostering communication skills, students suggested they found the day to be very valuable, ranking it 8.8/10.
Final outcomes will be assessed in the end of year surveys in June.
